Day 4 and it's still not controlled. It has, however, moved away from the area our property is in, enough so that they've let my neighbors go back home. The concern now is that it is moving over the next ridge, toward another recreation area known as Fish Lake. It's now at 1000 acres, there are over 600 firefighters working on it - apparently it's the biggest fire in the nation right now. And I guess it's only 10% contained. Hopefully the winds will continue to stay low and they can get a handle on it soon!
This picture was taken at the intersection of the road to our place (we're about 400 ft from here on the right). Awesome, but way too close for comfort!
